An eighth-mile, wheelchair-accessible boardwalk through a fen of carnivorous California pitcher plants, about 3½ miles south of Selma off Highway 199. Pair it with the 1-mile Jeffrey Pine Loop above the Illinois River. Go late April through early June for wildflowers. Day use only, with no fee, restrooms at the trailhead, and no drinking water.
