- Go for: Watchman Peak at sunset.
- Good to know: Through 2028, the Cleetwood Cove Trail (the only path down to the water) is closed for reconstruction, and no boat tours run. In 2026, part of East Rim Drive was also closed for construction, so the rim road wasn't a full loop. Check the park's current conditions page the morning you drive.
