Sams Valley is a rural, unincorporated area of Jackson County north of the Rogue River, between the Table Rocks and Gold Hill. There's no town center: it's farms, pasture and acreage. Medford is about 25 minutes south and Central Point about 20.

Sams Valley is open country with the Table Rocks on the skyline. Mornings are quiet, the pastures stretch to the hills, and spring brings wildflowers to the mesas next door.
The Upper and Lower Table Rock trails are minutes away, TouVelle on the Rogue is the summer picnic spot, and Bigham Farms' stand has corn and pumpkins in season.
Properties are mostly acreage: pasture, small farms, and homes with room for horses and outbuildings.
